Use MX player as external player to play the catchup program, go to settings > tools > properties and under file path you will see the url of the stream.
The URL to download from catch-up for most services using Xtreme Codes is
http://<IPTVURL>/streaming/timeshift.php?username=XXX&password=XXXX&stream=<STREAMID>&start=YYYY-MM-DD:HH-MM&duration=<MINS>
You can get the stream I'd from your playlist. It is the number in the URL for the station you want.
Time in the date is in 24hr format and duration is length of the show in minutes.
No idea if there is any issues with some suppliers to download from catch-up. I haven't had any with mine.
I know mag boxes are passé but that is one nice feature they have (DL from catchup).

OK, so implayer and iptv extreme both have this functionality.
