I have a Mag-254 box and I'm trying to connect a Wi-Fi Adapter to it, but for some reason it just doesn't detect it. I tried to look for some software for this Adapter but I don't see anything, I also checked YouTube for some solutions but they don't show how to fix this problem.
Can anyone help?
Just get an rtl2800 wifi adapter. The mags have drivers for those adapters. They always work.
I don't think anything apart from USB drives will work in Mag boxes as the firmware will not be built to allow USB WiFi adapters.
I have used them with mag256 boxes no problem. The trickiest thing was locating in the settings the way to switch from wired ethernet to WiFi. It took me ages to find the setting
