Using an RF2 I/O Splitter on a Firestick

by BigManSmallHands

Hi folks, I have recently got rid of my Sky TV subscription for a reliable IPTV through a Firestick directly into my TV. The issue is I used to split the output of the Sky box to multiple TVs via the aerial through what is a TRIAX splitter which I believe the I/O in is from the original Sky satellite. Is it possible for me to duplicate my HDMI 1 as the input here and therefore maintain my already in place splitter system. I'm a bit confused as to how it all works so any help would be appreciated

What youre looking for is a modulator if you want to duplicate whatever displays on the hdmi port.

How many TV’s do you have?

You can buy a hdmi modulator for £130 delivered:

Edision HDMI Modulator Full HD Distribution over Coax Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00KBXKJ2A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_4337AYGSEKVGZW5VRYFE

But to be honest for that price you could just buy 4 fire sticks! So why limit yourself to the same output on each tv? Separate fire sticks would give you much more flexibility.

Another option is to just buy another cheap firestick and buy 2 connections from your provider. should be pretty cost effective, unless you're already paying a high price
