My advice is: stay away from MAG boxes and buy a good Android TV box, such as Nvidia Shield TV or the cheaper box Xiaomi Mi Box S.

Look into a Formuler Neo or Alpha. Perfect MAG replacement that works with stalker portals just like a MAG device. Much better interface and functionality, but just as easy to support for resellers.

If only using for IPTV and NOTHING else, the Neo works fine and is a great price point. If you want to be able to install a couple more apps, like Plex etc - go for the Alpha. It has additional storage space and a better remote control.

Depends what you are wanting to put on it - If its IPTV and Kodi either Android Boxes or Amazon devices to the job - I moved from Android Boxes to Amazon 4K Firestick and Firecube and love both of them

If you are still in the market and you insist on a MAG or MAG style device, then, like others I recommend STBemu on Android (it also has the advantage of being able to change the MAC address so you can change it to that of your current MAG box so no changes required at your supplier's end and, as a bonus, any favourites will be carried over). However, unlike the others, I would recommend for hardware the Nokia Streaming Box 8000, mainly because of the easy to use full remote control.

If you're sticking to a Stalker Portal then I'd get a Formuler Box and use STBEMU on that.
