After doing a bit of research I found that I would like to purchase an IPTV box for my TV upstairs. However, it's a Philips ambilight TV from 2010.
It has all the ports it needs and it can connect with the internet so it's pretty modern in that aspect, however it's still 10 years old.
Since a good IPTV box is a bit pricy, I would like to know if you guys think I can connect it with this 10-year-old TV. Does a IPTV box require anything else than a HD port? I'm having trouble finding the IPTV compatibility.
If the tv has an hdmi port you are good to go, best iptv is hand down the nvidia shield pro, or for light use and on a budget get the new chromecast with google tv with the ethernet adapter (if able to connect it via ethernet), , tivimate (best iptv client) runs smooth on both..
