Which is the best IPTV App for Android TV in 2021 and why?

If you check the ratings than OTT Navigator IPTV would be the best, here on Reddit it looks like TiviMate will win, iMPlayer got more feature and so on...

I tested iMPlayer on my Nvidia Shield TV and it was great, good quality, fast and Discord support. Yesterday I get a new Android TV Box (KM6 Classic for 45€) and I think I will test TiviMate here. Looks like TiviMate is perfect for FireTV Stick, also you get updates over the app.

TiviMate premium is by far the best IPTV app on the market and it has way more features than Implayer….

Posts are really biased by platform, especially on Reddit when posts are easily downvoted by people that wish their opinion being the only right.

So the only valid solution would be to test and decide yourself.

I would recommend CosmiTV Player.

The devices I use are Nvidia Shield, Mecool KM9 Pro, HK1 MAX

Some of the reasons why I think is the best:

  • The interface is multi-generational family friendly.
  • You can use it with every IPTV Service.
  • You can rewind, pause, fast forward Live TV.
  • You can record series.
  • It has start early and end late recording time options
  • You can watch the recording program while is recording (great option for single connections)
