Possible to get same server on 2 devices?

by iggy12_96

So I use the STB emulator app and have it hooked up for my firestick and android tv. Currently I'm only using the firestick as my main one. But i want it also on my living room tv, since it's wired the performance is much better rather then me hooking the firestick there. Is there anyway for me to use the same server on 2 devices? I will not be using both devices at same time.

Yes. If it's tied to a MAC just spoof that on the second device. If it is not it should just work.

This will depend on your supplier.

Some suppliers now also check for other information that the box sends when making be a connection and will only authorise one device.

I used to use STBEmu in lounge and STB Emu in bedroom, with one supplier, now one is blocked on STB and I had to install their app with username and password for the second device.

They ramped up their security due to MAC spoofing and people stealing accounts.

Yeah it's pretty simple stuff. Ask your provider first though as some don't allow it. Most do though. Plus your provider should be able to walk you through. It's just a matter of changing your Mac address on the 2nd device to the one you you used on your first when you purchased the subscription.

I've had numerous reports of mac addresses being blocked when trying this but again depends on the service.

You usually can spoof the same MAC to two devices so long as you don't use them both at the same time.
