For the last few days my IPTV stopped working. When i reboot my mag254 it works for a few mins and then goes blank. I've tried multiple IPTV servers without any luck. Could this be because of Shaw? I don't have VPN subscription to try.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
I had this issue once with my provider , my provider is so reliable and gave me a good service always but I stayed for a week suffering with my MAG box , at first thought it was my providers and loaded them with support tickets when they always replied * we are not facing any issues * at first didn't believe them so I switched to a backup service and nothing ! I simply rebooted my box , I turned off my modem for more than 5 mins then everything went back to normal , my main provider was correct the issue was internal ,
try to reboot both box and your modem , if this does not work try to use 3g/4g connection not wifi to check if its a shaw or not .
The mags also are banning some portals as well.
The next logical step is to subscribe to a free trial with an m3u url and try on a pc with vlc or something. This will most certainly tell you if iptv is blocked completely or if it's a mag issue
Hi , I faced same issue , all providers gave same error , the problem is that i can not use VPN , so one of my providers * the current one * gave my sub a whitelisted ip or something like that . Now i use iptv with no issues . check with your provider if they can do the same , tell them you do not have vpn .
Disable ipv6 on your router and use only ipv4
Try giving internet from your phone and you will find out if its shaw or not.
