So I'm new to both IPTV and Apple TV. I'm also having a somewhat slow connection 50-100 Mbit/s.
I noticed that streaming live sport at FHD isn't possible since it creates a lot of stuttering. Low frame rate for some reason I presume.
This is some of my current settings: Hardware acceleration: On Match Framrate: Auto Deinterlace mode: Linear
Any settings guide or tutorial that could help me would be much appreciated.
Your internet connection is more than capable of streaming live sports.
It’s likely to be a problem with your provider getting too busy during popular events.
im sure the internet is fine. i had 60 and no problem. maybe your provider is not too good. there is an iplaytv group on discord where you can speak to the creator of the app. i recommend to join it. worth checking iptvx if you have the same issues.
dont forget that isp's are now blocking pretty much all live sports so there is a lot of buffering during games. use of vpn is necessary. assuming you are in the UK... there are only few providers that dont block but most of the big names are
You need to get your internet upgrade to 200 mbps unlimited . And or search engine for a vpn with wireguard and or Ethernet for your device as a rule 50 mbps is plenty for 4k viewing but wifi is up and down especially in peak times in your area. Hopefully you will have it sorted soon and up and running.
My internet is shitty. 25 Mbit/s down, 5 Mbit/s up. I use iPlayTV on an Apple TV 4K and FHD streams work without issue;
