I currently use stb pro on a firestick which I assume has a portal URL embedded somewhere within the APK as all I have to do is install the apk and then provide my MAC address.
I have a new tv with smart stb installed, but I cant add a portal as I dont know the URL an my provider wont give it. Does anyone know where the url may be embedded if I decompile the APK?

Yes, so I usually use a firestick and the provider I use supplies an APK which installs witha profile embedded. There's nothing within the app showing a url or IP it connects to so it can get the streams. I just supply my virtual mac and it works
So I have bought a Samsung TV that has tizen rather than android installed. I was planning on doing away with the stick and using smart STB on the TV. As it is tizen, you cannot install apks. I plan to use the URL/IP that's set up on the firestick to set up a portal on the TV. The provider won't give me a url or IP bit it must be embedded somewhere in the APK. I'm looking for a way to find it
Im not sure if this is true or not, but they will know if you are using their app or not and they might not like it. Also, why not used xc login acc instead of a mac account?
I'm not sure why they use theac login, it's just what I've been told to do.
I've given them the Mac of the tv. The issue is the app on the TV doesn't know what to connect to. The Mac is just for authorisation of the device
