I have a Shield and am using a mac based service. Normally I would hit the center circle button to bring up the channel guide but now it's no longer working. I've tried bouncing the Shield and removed/re-installing the custom app from the provider with no luck.

I have another service which uses stbemu and same issue - it doesn't bring up the guide. I have tried another Shield remote (the newest version) with no success.

any other troubleshooting ideas?

Edit: I followed a suggestion in this thread: remove the WebView and TV Home update and disable auto update in the Google Play store. That restored my menu guide.
