Comcast potentially throttling IPTV?

I have the newer Amazon Fire Cube 4k and it has been on WIFI and hard wired to my Comcast XB7 modem. I have also tried connecting to my mesh router system I have from PLUME. I have 1 Gbps download speed and randomly I have buffering issues using IPTV from sayuncletv. I do not believe it is a bandwidth or hardware issue as same issue happened on the regular firestick. I upgraded to the cube for more space, cpu, etc... I was wondering if anyone else has comcast and experiences throttling by the provider? I have IPVANISH setup on my firestick and set to scramble so that it can't detect it is a VPN, since I figured comcast may throttle VPN detected traffic as well. I am going to give a few days testing this setup and see if the buffering disappears but wanted to see if anyone else hahs experienced this.

Yes have also heard xfinity/comcast is known for throttling.

I had at&t for a few years using iptv and didn't really have issues with throttling. Switched to xfinity and noticed more buffering using same iptv services. Started using vpn and noticed an improvement

FWIW, in case you're still wondering about this.. I confirmed it last night after noticing some really terrible performance when accessing my IPTV service. The app I use has a built-in speed test, as they recommend at least 50MBps to use it without buffering, etc. The download speeds were below 1MBps (paying for 1000MBps). When I ran the same test while connected through a VPN, it went up to around 50...Super shady, but definitely no surprise to see this with Cox...not like there's any other option around here though. The lack of competition & relaxed FCC rules , combined with cable providers feeling increased pressure from "cord cutters" means this kind of thing is likely only to get worse.

I have comcast xfinity service with the same gateway (XB7) and have no issues with IPTV. I do not use a VPN and never have. Comcast does not throttle IPTV, odds are, it's your provider.
