I have an Nvidia Shield using IPTV. Both services keep buffering every 5 minutes. Locast and all other apps, no issue. Using Tivimate. Tried with other IPTV apps, same thing happens. Tried using VPN, same. I even reset the Shield and reinstalled my apps. Any suggestions?
Have you cleared your cache? Rebooted your modem? Make sure your streaming app is up to date. Check you internet speed.. are you on wifi if so 5.8 if using Ethernet cable make sure cat 6-8 Ltd if thing you can do to get good service. Buffering is from your end
On shield dashboard, go to settings , device preferences, internal storage, clear cahche. Clear the cache 3 or 4 times in a row. You want to do this at least twice a week if your using this as a daily TV viewer.
Now, your real issue is probably the amount of days TiViMate is set to keep past EPG.
Go into TiViMate settings, and got to EPG settings. Number of days to keep past EPG is defaulted to 7. Anything over 2 will eventually give you these issues so change the 7 to 2.
Now your modem. If your running the Shield on wifi, than you cant complain, that is your fault. Shield needs to be connected to modem to avoid dips in your wifi. The ethernet cord needs to be 6 feet or less. This is important.
