Hello I was wondering if someone could help or point me in the right direction please. I have an old android box by the name of “Max TV” it’s a few years old and I haven’t updated it in a long time. Can’t seem to find anywhere to update it or anything. Any suggestions?
Those boxes were never supposed to be updated. Most are stuck on Android 4 or 6 and can't be updated. The updates would have to come from a manufacturer who no longer supports them. That's why even back when, I suggested that people buy boxes that got support. The best was the Nvidia Shield which is still taking updates. Even the Xiaomi Mi boxes got support...at least for awhile. You *might* be able to flash them with other firmware but the things have to be painfully slow compared with equipment from now...
Can you post a bit more detail, like is there a model number or a manufacturer on the label?
Buy a new box!
