So I'm trying out siptv (smart IPTV) right now and although the quality is fine It doesn't seem to have the same FPS that I have when I use my legitimate TV provider. Especially when watching sports it's a bit annoying. Anyway to solve this? Is this just with siptv or are other IPTV providers exactly the same?
most IPTV providers have lower bitrate streams than conventional TV providers. if you're watching sports at 1080, you need at least a 7mb/s stream to look ok, and 8-10 is better.
even at 720, you're going to need at least 5mb/s and it's still going to show some blur on the fastest action. Chances are you have 3mb/s which is what most IPTV streams come in at. You can try a different provider, but this is what grey market IPTV is like right now.
Which tv or box do you have siptv installed? It might be underpowered to give you the performance for fast motion such as sports.
