Last week I had an issue connecting and saw an error telling me to contact my provider. I reached out and was told that my serial number is different and was accused for "cloning". I'm not the most tech savy person and I don't even know what that means, but now I've been disconnected as a result.
Can anyone explain to me how this could have happened so that I can explain that to my provider and get this fixed?
Basically your old iptv provider uses a stone age method to get your device connected which works over Mac adress. Someone cloned your Mac adress and was using your service, that's why you got shut down.
Best way is to test a few providers and see how a modern iptv provider is doing things in 2021. ;-) It should be with xtream codes login, which means you have a username and password.
