How does main iptv source work .

by nachikeighth

I'm curious, about how, the main source manages to own access to all the channels, I thought it connected to the channels ‏‏‎ that broadcast online, (but I immediately realized that that was impossible), I have also thought that maybe they take the signal via satellite, but they should have an infinity of satellite dishes to catch all the channels. I have also thought that perhaps they have servers in each country, from there they would take the signal and send it to the main source, but I also see that with a very huge logistics plan. Can you guys explain me how they do it, I dont need really technical names, just to get the idea (more than the normal people have) of how IPTV works. Thanks

I don’t work there so I can’t tell you how it is. But looking on google images for “illegal IPTV infrastructure” you can see some examples.

I would say : legal subscriptions in a country so they get the signal for each channel and then broadcast it to a central server.

Restreaming from an online stream is possible. Getting the original source stream in form of a easily restreamable link, or just screen capturing multiple channels at once can be done with the right tools. About satellite: From what I know, a large enough dish can have 8 sat converters, which means receiving 8 frequencies. Then the signal probably gets transferred to the iptv server, the channels get decrypted (mostly using cardsharing) and sent to the receivers. One frequency contains approximately 8 channels, which means ~64 channels. Channels from providers that use better encryption that disallows cardsharing get HDMI captured from official set-top boxes. BTW I don't own a IPTV service so I don't have 100% knowledge on how they operate (and most operators won't tell you for obvious reasons), but I hope it gives you a little insight on how they work
