GSE + chromecast

Hey guys,

I have a M3U list on GSE and if i cast tv shows or films (recorded stuff) it works very well but liveTV it dont work, no image no sound, say something about codec. Can i do something about his? Maybe an Amazon Firestick work on this?

ok, so what format is the file/show you're trying to stream? are you generating this stream, or is it a live channel of the internet?

if you're generating the stream, you need to fix your codec and use a standard that works with your system. When you're casting prerecorded shows, they are probably MP4 encoded using h.264 and either AAC or MP3 audio. make sure your streaming setup is using those codecs and everything should work regardless of the device.

Do you have a dual connection? If not then casting could register as a dual connection and won't be able to play.
