IPTV player on Windows?

by Hour-Bluejay9444

Hi, I'm looking an IPTV player on Windows that acts like a real cable tv. Similar to IPTV stalker player on Android. I like the idea of being able to change channels with navigational keys.

Free or Paid is fine. If it's free, I prefer it to be opensource.

edit: another feature I want is to auto-reconnect when it gets disconnected/freezes.

My vote is for emby. You can create a channel list to mirror your local cable provider.

If your provider offers a webplayer then I would try that with Microsoft Edge. Since Edge has AC3/Atmos support now it can play nearly all content.

I just use VLC player. You should be able to find the m3u with the iptv provider.

Best Player & IPTV isn't bad, at least for me it is one of the best. I tried a few of them (exclude Progdvb, will try this later) and this one suited me best. Smarters for some reason didn't work properly on my laptop (one of the issues is that I couldn't move the window around).

MyIPTV sucks, simple as that!

Best Player & IPTV was $2 if I'm not mistaken but you can get a trial version so you can try it. I'd recommend you try it at least :).

Just install Bluestack and go with Tivimate

If you can figure it out, dvb viewer, hands down! No EPG though, unless too, you can figure xepg out for it.
