Synology or rack station depending on sizes.
I started with large usb pens then Nas but just moved to buying Plex services instead much easier!
unRAID on old PC is fantastic.
I have a WD MyCloud 2 bay Ultra. It's been running for at least 5 years never had a problem with it. Cheap too!
I went with a little 2-bay from Terramaster for my initial foray into NAS. It's definitely not fancy, but I've been pleased with it. I use it for Plex now and it's been really solid and easy to use.
