Question about "one connection" subscriptions

by PipeHit

So I know that "one connection" means I can only use one device at a time, but does that mean I can log into another device when the first is not being used?

For example, can I use a "one connection" service on my phone at work while my TV at home is unused and switched off?

Im sorry if it's a stupid question, I would try it but I could get banned for it so I want to be sure, and Google isn't very helpful.

Yes, one connection at a time. The only issue might be if your provider does not allow multiple IP addresses, that they are locked to one IP address only. Then you would run into a problem because the IP address that they are showing initially (your home) will not match the IP address at work. But if your provider allows for multiple IP addresses, then yes, you may use that one connection on multiple devices as long as the one is off while the other one you are trying to run is running.
