IPTV crashes Kodi, and their mods are little turd bighters so they won't let a discussion happen over there about it.
Any thoughts would be helpful.

Iptv generally works better with stand alone apps. I get the appeal of using Kodi, but the apps usually stream better. You can use simple PVR maybe with Kodi

I’ve been stuck on this for the 6 months I’ve been a cord cutter and set on wanting everything inside kodi so I didn’t want to have to use another app like tivimate when everything else is within kodi. Finally last week gave up and started using tivimate for live tv subs and figured out how to get the tivimate app to show up in my android apps section within kodi so I can just switch to it like that. And overall tivimate is the shi. And still can use kodi for all my shows and anything else.
Nextpvr works with kodi and it is pretty legit. Can use it as a dvr and use schedules direct for better guide data. Works with xtream codes too.
Well, I use Tvheadend to manage my IPTV sub and use Kodi as the front end. This adds a full fledged DVR with recording and pause live TV to kodi so that's an added bonus. It does take a bit of work to initially setup but works fairly well.
