You can’t record on fire TV (unless you modify it). You can use an Android box with built in storage or USB external drive. Formuler Z8 is one option.
Some apps have it built in, somebody already mentioned Tivimate. Some providers provide their own hard coded apps with the function built in along with other features such as VPN in the app.
