Formuler Z8 Pro vs Z10 Pro/Z10 Pro Max

by dankeykangbang

Hello, I am new to the IPTV world. My TV has Android TV so I only need whichever Formuler box for IPTV. I don't think I need too much internal memory to save content. I just want whichever can provide an easy UI to navigate and a smooth cable-like experience. I wanted to know if the Z10 is worth getting or if the Z8 still holds up in comparison.

Ive had a Z7+ for 3 years or so now and still works like a charm. It was the hottest new product when it came out and came with a steepish price tag. Formuler is a great product for iptv aka mytvonline. Unless you will be doing some heavy modding, go with an option that won’t break the bank.

I’ve been messing around with a z10 pro max. The ui foe MyTVOnline 2 is good but there are limitations. For example, if you’re combing 2 or more services, you can only connect to 1 at a time. For me I use a combination of both stalker and xc providers for multiple reasons, and for that reason I stick with Tivimate on a fire tv cube. There’s just a bit more flexibility while still having an awesome UI. That said, tivimate doesn’t handle stalker as well as formuler or mag boxes. There’s trade offs for everything and it’ll come down to your specific use case.

The z10 itself is solid and it’s nice having a clean Home Screen without any bloat or ad bullshit like Amazon does, but it can feel a little clunky at times.

Have you tried tivimate on your tv itself since its android tv anyways...? most of the android tvs i have setup with tivimate work just fine despite many saying they won't

All are garbage Get an Android device ... Lots more options. I recommend Tivimate on TiVo stream 4k (they are on sale for about 15.00 at Walmart)
