Having a strange issue with my android boxes. I fired one up yesterday and couldn't get any apps to play. When I check the wifi connection info on the box, it shows good connection. I played around for two plus hours, and could not get a connection to hold for more than 90 seconds. This was happening with Chrome browser, YouTube, Playstore, and other apps. Also happening ony second and third boxes on my other tvs, and I tried two backup boxes, same result. My primary tv is a smart tv, Netflix and prime working fine on wifi on these with no issues. Netbook also staying connected fine. I am baffled, appreciate any suggestions. Going to find an ethernet cable to try on primary box when I get home.
Before you go any further at all, test the box wired. Are you having the same issues? Without this test... You're pointing fingers at your wifi and you don't even know if that is where the problem is yet.
Once you confirm it is a wif only issue, you can then proceed to focus your troubleshooting on that. Lots of logging tools available for such tasks.
