Hey everyone, I’m wondering if there is a way to switch my region so that channels that are blacked out due to region aren’t blacked out anymore.
I’m trying to watch hockey games that are blacked out in my area and want to find a way around it. Thanks in advance :)
This has to be done provider side. They are using a stream that is blacked out during a game and there is nothing you can do to "unblock" the channel.
I think MYTVOnline is an app that usually comes with a preconfigured STB box aka "Kodi box", so you maybe don't even know what IPTV service you are using. You need to get a VPN. Look what VPN apps you can install on the box or it comes with. My friend had this issue with little knowledge of what this "box" was doing. He had the Private Internet Access VPN app on the box, I gave him my login details and that sorted it out. In the VPN settings you can configure it to start automatically.
I don't know what service you're talking about. I'd imagine it's a legal one if they're following rules. I'd think a vpn service should take care of what you're looking for.
