No

kfarrel6

No difference in image quality, I use both

4k max has just upgraded ram I believe and now uses WiFi 6 so you'll get a stronger connection to your router.

No, it just has speed upgrades. No real difference in reality. The standard 4k stick still has a good enough WiFi connectivity to stream at 4k.

OutrageousEnd263

No. The new Firestick has Wi-Fi 6 which means it should have a stable connection for Steams

No image quality difference that I’ve noticed. But it has cut down on buffering significantly. And much snappier moving around the menus.

I like new remote 😀

I know what you mean! Mine was disappointing. Here is my settings that improved everything...

In settings: Display

Match original Frame rate : OFF

Colour Bits : 8 bits

Dynamic Range : Adaptive

Bunty39

No. Only it has slow processor.

There was between my 4k and 4k max until I realized that there was dust on the TV screen that the 4k was hooked to...

Thanks y’all . I’ll most likely stay with the regular 4K since I rarely get buffering

knuckledude

asking about "image quality " does your provider offer true 4k ? If not than no

If I'm hardwired to my Firestick 4K (ethernet from the router) then I don't really have to worry about a WiFi 6 router.... correct?

No difference at all in video only Wi-Fi 6 .. which is a higher Wi-Fi transmission speed but you have to make sure you have a Wi-Fi six router/modem
