Android boxes- H96 Max, T95 etc..

by kafrasouth

Hello, I have an LG TV with web os but I find that the IPTV apps suck. They don't let me put subtitles, and in general I find that they aren't good.

I wanted to buy a box to connect to my TV. Where I am there isn't must options. I found some android boxes such as the H96 Max with android 9, 4gb ram, 32gb rom and another model called T95 with 2gb ram 16gb rom. Both are same price.

Can I connect them to my TV, download an app, and watch IPTV thru them, or do I need a box that is already setup for IPTV?

Thanks!

You could just get a Firestick 4k and run anything you want.

I've used several different android boxes, and aside from the Nvidia shield which would be overkill for what you need, anything with a s905x3 or s905x4 processor should work well. I've never been a fan of fire stick products, besides having to jump through hoops to install an app that's not in Amazon's app store (and let's face it, none of the best ones are) they are low spec for the price. I have a X96 max+, I think I paid $70 for it a year ago, it is very fast and reliable. Stay away from any box that has rockchip or allwinner, they are absolute garbage.

c-fu

mi box or mi tv stick.

note that it's on android tv, not normal android like those android boxes.

I have a Chromecast with Google TV, an Onn 4k device, and an Nvidia Shield. As far as running IPTV on them, they all do a great job. The CCGTV and Onn devices replaces Fire Stick and work much better for me.

I like the Tivo Stream 4K. $29 on Amazon. Runs a whole lot better than my firestick.

I’ve had experience with the T95 and the Xiaomi Mi box. I really like the Mi Box because it has android tv OS. You can install the smarters app from the google play store and watch your iptv with no problems

I’m quite happy with the Nvidia Shield. Yes it costs more than a basic box or fire stick but the performance is worth it. You can run a stand-alone IPTV player + PVR or use a Kodi integration.

I use the X96 Max+ can get them from 40-60 dollars depending on what ram and memory you want. The ram is more important than storage as you can use a micro sd or USB for storage.

I run everything from fire stick in

they probably already come with a kodi fork

Yes, IPTV apps do not have subtitles. It is a fact.
