Hi, I own this tv box and the wifi signal is very poor. In a 100mb connection I get 22mb and the router is about 3 meters away from the box (no walls).
I have reset and also updated the firmware (public version via USB in bios). Don't know what else to do...
LAN will give you a little more. Any box that has a 10/100 ethernet is going to give you a not very satisfactory connection. Try to find a box that has 100/1000. I have two Nvidia shields that are lightning...i just purchased an H96 Max from Amazon to test and its just about as fast as nvidia on ethernet and 5ghz wifi. But had to do an exchange as the remote was failing.
Hi mate. Try plugging in a LAN cable direct from your router and see what speeds your getting.
I had similar issues and the only way I could resolve was to run a dedicated wired LAN.
