Android box questions

by f150dogman

I recently signed up for IPTV through a family friend. They don't watch much sports but I do, they have 4- X88 pro boxes throughout the house with no complaints , just cheap ones off Amazon but the eithernet speed is 10/100 which from my research tops out at 100mbps. I've noticed while watching sports things stutter. I have 350mb download which I get easily on my Xbox but when I do a speed test with the box it gets 86mb. I'm assuming that's my stutter issue. Debating on getting an nvidea shield. Do you think that would fix my issues? Thanks

Even 86mb is more than enough for IPTV streaming as is a plain Android Box like that. A Shield is overkill if all you use it for is IPTV. Your download speed isn’t the problem. Make sure to use a VPN connected to the location nearest you. If it happens on all channels then contact your provider to help you troubleshoot. If it’s just a couple channels, we’ll that’s not unusual for these services.

You can have 3gd download speed and still have issues with iptv.. It can be anything, no vpn, routing, ISP throttling your connection etc

Which app and player ya using? Lotta variables. Reset your network also.

Life hack. Buy a 24hr timer. Set it to turn off at 3am for 15 minutes everynight. Plug just your router into it. Fresh everyday.

Box is good enough at 4gigs of memory..either your getting throttled by your internet provider or your iptv has issues...
