buffer size

I use smartest app now increasing size would help buffering issues I get?.....any settings I can try?....I don't wanna give my provider and it's verizon

Increasing buffer sie could help, just try it. Unfortunately I do t understand what you are trying to say in the end.

I use TiviMate, and weirdly setting my buffer to zero almost completely got rid of any buffering I had. It makes no sense to me, but might be worth a try.

Check your speed with a speedtest app. Remember that using vpn will cut the speed, but also gives a better experience if you are being throttled by ISP. Also give your provider input and see what they suggest. Many people will say to just change providers, but that’s generally bad advice, because usually it’s a tweak or two on your end. Try different apps ( tivimate is great ) and always be sure you clear your cache, reboot your router etc. BTW Verizon is known to block and throttle at peak times.

I am facing a strange issue, when I use 5ghz network on my Mac based iptv using on STBemu (device gpogle TV with chromecast), I get buffer issue. However, if I use 2.4ghz network it works fine. What can be the issue?
