I own both and I noticed a few bugs with the onn box where on all 3 of my IPTV Playlist list the channels will start freezing and then I have to force stop and clear the cash, sometimes two or three times a day unlike the 4k fire stick max I never have this issue..

Now the onn box is not a bad device $29.99 ($19.99 sale price) but I still think the 4K firestick max is a better device when it comes to Performance..

Similar performance. Huge price difference. I use the max but refer some friends to the ONN. Onn has no Dolby vision support. Samsung TVs do not either. If you have a Dolby Vision TV and watch Netflix or other DV content the Onn disqualifies itself. If you don't care it's hard to beat $20 Onn Box.

I would get the ONN box. The hardware is similar to the firestick but the ONN box comes with plain "Android TV" while the firestick comes with Amazon bloatware and no google play store so if you want to install something like Tivimate you have to sideload it on the firestick while on the Onn box you can get it straight from the google store.

Also the Onn box is $20 so much cheaper than the firestick.

I use ONN for my office and it works really well . I ditched firesticks. I use nvidia shield on any of my home TVs though

You should check out the Tivo Stream 4k it's pretty much the same thing but with a better remote and has true google TV so it has Chromecast built in as well.

Walmart has them and sometimes they are on sale as low as $15.

I have both. My personal opinion is that the Onn is straight ass. At least for me and I might be the only one lol. I have 3 FS4k’s, 2 Shields, 1 ATV, and 1 Onn. I no longer use the Onn because I always have issues. It either goes black randomly o5 freezes where none of my other devices have that issue. Maybe I just got a lemon, but the others work great for me.

If you going to be involved with iptv go all in with shield pro. You get what you pay for. What for cable every month will pay for 3 shield pro in 3 months.
