Recording

by MB-Taylor

Hi folks, convincing l convincing the Mrs to scrap a certain tv provider that doesn't rhythm with sly.... She wants to be able to record so I figured it would be worthwhile asking here..... Any recommendations for boxes that you can use for iptv and record to it as well? Key would be to record something that isn't necessarily being watched....I know catch up is the next best option.thanks in advance

I've been using a shield TV for a while it's a pure beast

tvimate is the most recommended client and for good reasons it's fast it's got a nice ui that's very similar to a normal set to box and dose recording to either the devices own storage or a network share

Recording can be hit or miss when recording IPTV.. If it’s TV shows and movies that your wife wants to record then I suggest also using APK’s like Flixoid or Tea TV and get a real debris account…

Honestly, the best way I've found is to use xTeVe with Plex. If you already have a computer that's always on, xTeVe makes your service act as virtual TV Tuners that a Plex Server can use to DVR record and playback in your Plex app on pretty much all devices.
