Guys, what a bullsh.t, noway nvidia shield pro is cheaper than shield tv... Just to clear this missunderstanding....if you wanna play games and get nuts all day long sure you go for shirld pro, but if you just wanna take advantage of iptv or live tv you just need shield tv, which works fluently well for me, love everything it does including the super remote and the shiled app which is quite perfect! Dont lose time and money on other android tv boxes out there, Nvidia Shield still rocks on!!!

There's a few third part sellers selling the older version at twice the price of the newer one

Not sure where you're seeing these prices on amazon but the shield pro is 199.99 and the tube is 149.99. I'm seeing a non pro shield which I think is what's confusing everyone....that's showing at 249.99 and I believe that's the 2015 model which has the older controller and more onboard memory. Just go with the current gen pro model imo. The tube might fit your needs but it's 32bit architecture might limit you in other ways down the road.
