Question on players/options

by Lemur2121

Hello - I think this question is allowed :)

For years, when I had cable , I relied on TitanTv as my channel guide -- checking what was airing and when.

Additionally, I then could curate my list of channels -- removing/hiding channels from TitanTV (and my box) that I didn't want included (which eliminated the endless scrolling through hundreds of channels). I could also create channel groupings based on filters (so I could just view sports or just commercial-free movies).

Now that I potentially have *thousands* of channels, I'm looking for a similar setup.

  1. Are there any IPTV players that will let the user remove/hide channels that are of no interest (thus eliminating them from the scrolling) -- extra points if they're free.

  2. Is there any way to see (via the web) an IPTV channel guide (so, I can more easily view/browse what's airing and when; as compared to having to fire up the IPTV player?)

Thanks!

Tivimate premium player it cost $7.99 for one year with 5 devices or a one time fee of $24.99 for up to 5 devices.. It’s by far the best IPTV player…

Yes. The best is Tivimate. Has a beautiful guide and you can customize and remove channels/groups with ease. The app is free but getting the premium version is highly recommended. Tivimate

And with Tivimate you can customize your playlist - create groups, copy/move channels to those groups, etc.

I have a Formuler Z7+ with MyTvOnline and a Formuler GTV with MyTvOnline 2 and Tivimate is better in my opinion. It has tons of options and the developer improves it constantly. Formuler boxes have a great reputation mainly because of the app MyTvOnline but the one thing that they have not improved is giving us the option to change the font size on the EPG.

I have no idea why they have not done it yet everyone on the Formuler Forum has been asking for it for a few years. Tivimate has 3 or 4 different sizes for us blind people especially if you are not sitting 10' from your TV a larger Font size on the EPG would be an important option.

I agree with all that has been said about TiViMate.

However, I normally watch on my Android phone, for which there is no TiViMate version, as it is designed to be used by devices with remote controls.

I live in hope that someone will make a TiViMate version / hack for phone users.
