I currently have a few FireTVs running Tivimate and I enjoy it but I’m thinking of getting a dedicated PC/Mac for my main TV and I was wondering what the best Tivimate equivalent would be for either. Any recommendations?

If your PC has the hardware for it, run an Android emulator on it and within the emulator run TiviMate.
Buy a Nvidia Shield with external storage (formatted as internal) and keep using TiviMate. Will be cheaper than buying a dedicated PC for TV and you still get to use Android versus an emulator, etc. that is just a bad imitation of actual Android
Iptv smarters
I run mine through VLC. I load the .m3u (takes a minute or so) and everything loads. I can then search channels. No guide or nothing tho, just a massive channel list.
VLC. Use m3u files.
Use this free website to edit m3u files to edit or remove groups or channels that you don't want: http://m3u4u.com
Windows- SFVIP Player, Mac- iSTB
IPTV Smarters and VLC.
No one's suggested Kodi with Simple IPTV. I know the interface is terrible but...
Kodi w/ Simple IPTV player
I used to do the htpc thing a few years back but I learned now that the best software for tv is written for Android. If you enjoy tivimate, you'll hate anything on PC/Mac.
If you want something more upscale.formypur tv get an Nvidia shield
