Hello all,
Recently my remote stopped working for the Shield TV pro. I did quite a few things to try fixing it (resetting it, keeping it off etc) but nothing was working. I took it to an IT shop and he said the bluetooth receiver’s gone and that he can’t fix it.
I have no warranty left on the box so not sure where this leaves me. Any suggestions or anybody experience this fault before?

Buy a USB Bluetooth Dongle...I have experienced the remote not working problem also. I got it going but can't remember how I did it....Did you Force Stop, clear cache and clear data in the BT App in settings?Before you went to see someone about it did you try removing it completely and reinstalling it?
At worst you would reset your Shield to factory settings to get it to work.
Did the guy do a test or just say "the BT is gone"?
