Prime day deals

by Marc1869

I need to upgrade my current fire stick and Amazon have a couple of amazing deals on right now due to it being prime day. Fire tv stick 4k (was £49.99 now £22.99), fire tv stick 4k max (was £54.99 now £32.99) and fire tv cube (was £109.99 now £54.99). The price for the cube seems amazing however, I only use it for IPTV so I’m not sure if I even need the cube. Is it worth the extra money?

4k max and don't look back

The cube is at least 3 years old now

I've heard people say it is. The 4k stick has always been good for me but I've ordered a chromecast with android tv for £30 on amazon today as our other TV is android.

Cannot beat the shield pro 4 k in my opinion best in the buisness but yeh aweee bit pricey

CUBE 100%, bought 6-10 sticks over the years all 4k or max models. Always issues, cube stays cool and never has a hiccup, especially if you can hook up Ethernet.

Fire sticks have virtually no cooling. If you have ever seen the inside of a cube it’s one giant heat sink. Making the processing bits nice and cool, which makes them last longer, perform more consistent than a stick.

You won’t regret it

Honestly 55 euros for a cube is kind of a steal. It competes with the NVIDIA Shield and it’s a little worse but 4x less the price now.

I would buy if you watch movies and tv and use tivimate

if you just use for basic tv watching, probably not. With the Cube though, you can do a little more, like, attach a usb if you need extra storage, and Firesticks you cannot. So you want to record or do other things, cube might be better. But if you know you don't use those features or any other apps, then probably no need. Good deal though for sure

I’m not a fan of Firestick. Lack of performance. But then again, this is non-Max version. Fire Cube is nice, but it’s old now.

I bought the cube, got an extra 20% off the prime day price by trading in an old roku. $35, had to pull the trigger.

Fire TV Stick 4K is the best value the other two are overpriced going by current Prime Day pricing that is.

Not worth paying the extra for IPTV the money you save you can use towards a provider or a new stick down the road.

I have bought dozens of 4k Firesticks for friends and family. I bought one Max. The Max Only has ghost icons on sideload apps. I think it's the OS. It's a pain to try and fix it. Just putting this out as information. I just bought more 4k sticks on Prime Day. No Max. That's all folks.

Cube is worth it, IMHO. I just upgraded 2 of my Firestick 4Ks to Fire Cubes and like the performance increase thst came with.. It has a 6 core processor compared to the 4 core processor on the Firesticks, and I find IPTV playback a bit smoother because of it. It also has triple the available storage of the Firestick 4K Max for other apps. So, I have the basics on my Cube - Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, Tivimate, Disney+, and my available space is still over 10 GB. On my Firesticks I was constantly running out of storage room and that did not just bring about nagging messages until I cleared space but also came with severe performance decreases.

Last day today in Aus and you can get 2 4kmax for A$70. (prime members)

If you only use a streamer for IPTV, check out the ONN box. Walmart normally has it for $20. That's not the sale price, that's the normal price. Android OS, works great for basic IPTV use for me.

Get the cube . Have two . Brilliant

I’ve not used Tivimate yet. Are you able to record off it using a Firestick?
