Looking for someone that provides Portuguese channels, my mother only needs the basic ones none of the sport or premium stuff. She just moved into a new apartment complex and unfortunately she can't have her dish installed there and she prefers all the Portuguese novellas than the UK stuff lol. I'll also be buying her a MAG box as Kodi will probably not be user friendly for her.

So I'm looking into getting IPTV (previously I've been using a card-sharing box) and there's a lot I'm confused about.

I currently have a Amazon Fire TV Box with KODI already installed onto it, but was wondering if there are any added advantages of using an Android box (such as those made by Dreamlink, Avov and Mag etc) instead?

Are Android boxes better for IPTV (I plan on purchasing a IPTV subscription service and using something like iVue for an EPG), or should I just stick with my Amazon Fire TV box? I absolutely don't mind spending additional money purchasing an Android box if they offer a better viewing/IPTV experience.

I'm trying to figure out which box to get after latest updates. I noticed that Dreamlink recently got a major update. I can't find any recent comparisons with the MAG boxes though. The few I found are under older updates so they don't take into account any recent improvements.

I just want something not difficult to setup, have ability to install apps like Slingtv (I want sling as backup to IPTV), nice usable EPG, wifi connection, wouldn't mind ability to record but not a deal breaker. I don't truly care about the number of cpu cores or ram as long as it is smooth enough to stream IPTV. I'm probably going to get Epicstream or FABiptv.

Any suggestions?

I've installed perfect player with a load of channels just so I can watch some channels whilst away on holiday. It was working fine whilst I was on another network but now I've got home and try to use it on my network it doesn't seem to work? I just seem to be getting errors no matter how many different M3U links I put in.

When I try to connect to a channel I just seem to get 'Can't connect to source'

I've also tried using a VPN in case my ISP was blocking it but that doesn't seem to bring any joy either.

Has anyone else experienced this or know what it could be?

Hi, I was wondering if there's a client or an addon which can get both IPTV (in my case FAB, I currently use Simple Client) and DVB-T channels (I currently use NextPVR). They can work together, but it's very fragile and requires manual setup on every launch. I'm looking to have both on one screen. The solution can also be a TV Guide addon sorta like iVue, but that can get PVR channels as well (then I can only have NextPVR enabled and use the playlist for FAB). I'd love to hear some suggestions - I understand "TV Guide Fullscreen" can do this, but frankly I have no idea how to even install it. Thanks!
