Dreamlink T1 not accepting URL

I bought a T1, decided on SET TV , there price is little high but it has the channels I am looking for and it can be used on 3 devices simultaneously. The problem I am facing is that is seems like the T1 doesn't like their URL which SET TV has verified to be correct. It starts with https:// and the T1 doesn't like the "s", it is auto filled with http:// . When adding the S, it gives me an error. If I leave the S out then it gives me the message about checking internet connection or service URL...

URL is https://mwstv.setplex.net/wbs Any ideas?

That link will not work.

That is not a stalker based portal...that's some other html page. HTTPS or HTTP it doesn't matter, no set top box will connect to that page...

I don't know what set tv is, but you need to contact them .

Did you follow their instructions on their website? They tell you what you need to do to get it working and did they activate your mac address yet?

THat is more than twice the price of other services that have proven very reliable here. Also, you can't go by channel lists alone because they could go down at any minute and the reseller has no control over them.

I personally would have tried a few other options and saved the extra coin, but for sure keep us posted how it works out for you. We'd love to see a review of the service :)

I can't imagine it being better than some of the other ones though!

Try using https:// and checking certificate, if that didn't work test just http:// with certificate checked. That should enable https
