I've learned a ton in the last 24 hours, and even set up my new livetv subscription.

I feel like I still need to visualize how this android box thing breaks down, as some aspects are still fuzzy.

KODI is an App on the android box? What are the "add ons" on Kodi? An app on an app?

I set up my live tv using STB emulator. Frankly because I cant figure out add-ons yet, and the emulator felt more direct, instead of setting up the subscription as a kodi add on.

So how does the box break down? It's all just apps? or Kodi is more than just an app?

I'm trying to visualize how all this maps out to follow the layout.

On a PC, Windows is my OS, and I install the software's to execute things, firefox, chrome, word, excel, quicktax... whatever.

how does it layout in an android box if you put it in those terms?

How do I update Kodi? Or look to see if I have the latest?

Currently reads 17.1 Krypton when it loads.

I'd like to learn a bit more about how to update and customize Kodi.

Using a trial for Fab - I'm getting no sound from any of the TV channels at all - but if I hop out and go over to Video club I get sound for those.

Anyone else had something like this happen?

I've decided to set up Epicstream using through STB, not with Kodi.

Currently when I open up my STB Emulator, it puts me into IPTV Express, which is now working poorly, but working.

Do I just add my new settings over the existing set up?

where do i go from here in setting up wit STB?

Hi. I am moving soon and I've noticed that I only really watch 1 channel, which is Nat Geo Wild. (the rest of my content is acquired through soccerstreams and torrents.) since this is the case, does anyone know of a service that allows me to subscribe to only 1 channel? I don't mind paying 2-3$ for 1 channel per month.

I am leaving iptv express behind, and now trying to install something new.

I have chosen epic stream to start.

Problem is I have no idea how!!!

The guy gave me instructions, but none match what I see on my screen.

I launch Kodi 17.1, and I get a screen with a menu along the bottom that gives the following icons >>>

movies / tvshows / livetv/ sports / kids / horror / featured / ladies / all in one / music / programs / system / power

this is a bar along the bottom that scrolls horizontal.

All the tutorial links show anything but that... none of the steps have anything to do with what I am seeing.

Where do I go on kodi to get going???

I am looking for IPTV service provider for English and Hindi (Indian) channels mainly. I am currently using IPTV Rocket and the service is not so good. Many channels are don't work and some that work have poor quality.

I am also MAG254 BOX for IPTV.

I am new to IPTV.

I bought a box and cut the cord in early march. I have IPTV Express and pay the $15/m subscription.

It was down 1 week in march, and so far 1 week in april... and still not up.

QUESTIONS:

1. why does it go down?

2. how exactly does IPTV express work? (or any of them?). I would like to understand the technology behind it, to understand why they go down.

3. What other alternatives are there if I drop IPTV Express??? I want all my sports channels, news channels, and general US/Canada content.

I just got a message from my provider that said IPTV Express has been hacked and technicians are working on it and provided me with another service temporarily, but who really knows what's going on just passing on info I received may help others looking for answers.

I am new to IPTV and have a question about providers. I have tried apextv and FABIPTV and I really like both of them. Just curious if there are any providers that offer local (Detroit specifically) versions of ABC, FOX, etc? My biggest reason to not cut the cord yet has been possibly missing local college football games if I can't get those channels.

I tested a trial but I'm kinda worried about putting my creditcard details. Has anyone else tried this service?

Hi I have a box with a paid IPTV service. I bought another box but was wondering if there was a way to transfer everything (including login crendentials) from my other IPTV box to the one I just bought so I don't have to pay for another service for that box. I bought Gold Server from myiptvstore.com It was a great website and I used it for quite a long time. However, that website seems to have gone under.

So, now I want to try a different IPTV Server, so what would you recommend? I have tried Star TV, Gold TV, IP Guys, IPTV Express . I am looking for South Asian content (Hindi) along with Cricket and Canadian/American Sports and entertainment channels with good VOD, (Indian and American shows and movies). I truly enjoyed the "NBA League Pass", "MLB Extra Innings", "NHL Centre Ice", etc etc.

I see on the list that iptvsubs has plex support but i'm curious how to get that setup if anyone could help. Do they have their own plex channel plugin like smoothstreams or do i have to manually plugin settings into the plex iptv channel addon? Should I be subscribing to the kodi or mag service from them to get this to work?

I asked if i could remove all non English channels but my seller said sorry no 'you can only remove them on your own by customizing the list for m3u8'. How do I do this? I know I can just open up different categories but it would be a lot easier to just open up and have all the channels I want their instead of switching between "Sports" News" English" ect... Also removing English channels I don't want would be helpful. Thanks.
