So I'm new to IPTV, decided to finally try some streaming providers after using Kodi for several years for my downloaded stuff (bittorrent + flexget). I've tried five providers so far - Filmon.tv, USTVnow.com, usaiptv.net, IP Guys (cod123.biz) and Voodoo (voodoo.dynsite.tm). I've noticed that nearly all providers can only be subscribed to through resellers who will do nothing for you in terms of technical support if you want to report problematic channels.
Filmon and USTvnow are great quality through their websites, but because the Kodi apps are third party I can't get the full range of channels but the ones I do get are solid and good quality. They just don't have very many channels. They also don't do m3u8 playlists or stalker middleware.
USAIPTV.net has been the worst - 20-25% of the channels offline on any given day, 10-15% have wrong guide info, another 10-15% have buffering issues all day, and during North American evenings (prime time) all channels go to shit.
VooDoo seems to be stable, but I've found a bunch of channels that showing some sports channel instead of what the channel list says it to be, along with others that have Spanish or Portuguese subtitles burned into the video. There's a whole bunch of misnamed channels though.
IP Guys is stable, too, and has few problematic channels than Voodoo, but I think only because they have fewer channels in total.
Is this to be expected? Or is it just because I've chosen $10/mo cheapies while I'm just testing things out?
Are there providers in the $20-$50 per month range that are known for having solid streams, accurately named channel lists, accurate guide data, a half decent variety (Canada/USA/UK) and a way to report bad channels?
Thanks in advance.
