Normally I have to search pastebin or Google for a IPTV playlist and import it into my iptv app.

Is there an automatic way to do this?

I'm looking for an iptv setup that is easy to use. I think in general I mean :

• EPG support
• Mobile client support (IOS & Android) for 'second screen' viewing.
• Easy to use
• Doesn't need fettling or fiddling with every other week to keep running.

I've been using openelec/kodi/xbmc/mediaportal for years to stream locally content in the house. The user friendliness of these has proved great for the whole family to use. I'm looking to extend that to IPTV if possible.

I currently have x86 boxes running openelec. If I can use something there as a plugin(s) then great but I'm open to buying new hardware if it provides a better experience.

At the moment my uneducated thought is Ruya + On Tapp + Kodi. I have no idea how all that will work either individually or when integrated (if even possible).

Can anyone say if I'm on the right track or if they can recommend a 'complete stack' to effectively replace the ease of use of a legacy cable style box?

I was curious. I used to have various FTA Boxes that needed bin files (Sonicview, Viewsat, Nfusion) when I was renting at a house. Now that I'm in an Apartment Building, I can't go that route (also all my boxes were destroyed during several moves). I cut the cable a while ago since I'm on my PC all the time... but I use Kodi from time to time. Being in Canada, I would like to watch my local channels on my computer, or are all the available options only US & other International channels... I don't know where to start...

I'd rather not use a Set Top box again, so is there a way to go via Kodi? Sorry for the confusing newbish questions. I've been out of the loop for way too long. My search results keep coming back to IPTV, but there's so many sources out there...

Has any one ever had an issue with their smooth streams? mine was recently, I took my Kodi box to a friends house to watch movies and maybe a fight here and there. However when I went to smooths streams it did not want to connect at all, something about no JO something. When I got home to check it out again it was working perfectly fine like no other. Just wanted to know what am I missing here

I'm about to pull the trigger and subscribe to IPTVsubs, the trial is working great. The only things I would love to have is CW and Japanese networks. Is there anything available that includes those? Right now I'm using USTVNOW for the CW, but it's pretty grainy for me.

Just subscribed to TVonIP and looking for the best player for the TV. They have no app for my smart TV and they have yet to make it available on Kodi.

Only way I have found to watch on TV is to mirror the phone screen thru Chromecast. Trying to find a way to be able to switch channel using a harmony remote.

Should I get a Roku stick? Anyway to run TVonIP on a raspberry? Any other idea?

Hey guys, I have wasted days and still cannot find a IPTV provider that checks all of these checkboxes:

• 1. runs on Kodi
• 2. offers monthly subscriptions
• 3. has at 720P or better streams for soccer (EPL, Champions League, La Liga)

All the providers that I found that meet #1 and #2 do not meet #3, their streams claim to be HD but are actually SD.

I'm really struggling to understand the overall thing. I get what IPTV is and that I could watch a stream of a public IPTV channel on my laptop. But I don't understand the wider process of paying a sub, setting up channels and watching them on various devices. Is there a guide? Some questions I have, that would be useful to see in one place are:

• What's an m3u?
• I know what an EPG is but is there special config to make it work?
• Do all IPTV providers service work on new Samsung tvs?
• Do they need to be reconfigured occasionally? If so, how?
• Are the services all about as reliable as each other?
• Are the EPL games always on the same channel or do they require a bit of config each time? etc.

I got a really good offer on the 352. I know 254 is an open platform. How important is that for someone who will be heavily relying on IPTV services for the next couple years. ATM I am only going to use IPTVSubs FYI.

This is my basic understanding so far. IPTV can do live stream and it can do 'catch-up' for time zone issues. But...does it have video on demand? Could any of the subscriptions have an option to watch shows like Netflix does for Asian content? If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys I am using iptvsubs and it's great. However I am having a problem with my EPG on Avov tvonline+. When I connect to the server the correct time on the epg shows up for about 30 seconds then it advances 4 hours. Anybody else having this problem? Other server EPGs are correct.

why are there nowhere the SKY UK moviechannels in HD ? Is it because the channels are paired to the card? But IPTV comes from direct from hdmi, or ?
