Is there a benefit of using a purchased IPTV box vs something like an nvidia shield?

I see that there are tons of IPTV boxes on the market so I didn’t know if they had any upper hand on the Nvidia Shield or even a FireTV device. Would I be able to use the same client for look and fee across the board if I mixed and matched devices?

I am very new to the IPTV scene so I appreciate any help understanding all of this :)

Channel sorting into groups using Simple IPTV Kodi addon

I tried Kodi addon simple IPTV. It did work, however, I had a few issues:

  1. It loads the playlist every time I start Kodi, which is a considerable time as the playlist has over 25k entries (due to tags etc.). How to reduce this frequency to reload the playlist (I already have selected the option to persist the playlist locally).
  2. The second issue is that the channels don't get sorted into group. It just displays a very long list containing all the possibly entries, which makes browsing very slow while changing the channels from the list.
  3. Because, the channels were not being sorted, I manually sorted them into groups, but when I restarted Kodi, the channels playlist was reloaded and it deleted all the groups.

I liked the smoothness and experience that I had for the short time when I had my own small channels groups running. Is there a way to solve these issues?

Or is there a better alternative on android tv box that I can use?

Nordvpn on firestick and IPTV

Is anyone using nordvpn for their IPTV on their firestick? I've recently started using IPTV however my Internet provider BT (the cunts that they are) seem to blocking my IP all the time. I was using IPTV on my smart TV but cannot run a vpn on here so have now resorted to my firestick which worked for a short period. This now seems to be getting blocked as well so I was going to get nordvpn and run through this on my firestick. Can anyone confirm if this will sort the issue?

Long story short:

IPTV works on Samsung TV, but would like to try it on different platform. I have no communication with the IPTV seller who set this up.

Is there any way to find the link/files from the TV or siptv if i have the tv mac address or is it impossible and I should just give up.

I'm using kodi for some shows in place of PVR and noticed a lot fewer links (shutdown?) so I signed up for debrid (real-debrid.com). links show up in the search results but not work, the site won't help, can anyone shed light on this -whats happening or how to fix

I have M3U iptv list, and i need basically addon that allows me to put this to Kodi with all categories.

I install Pvr iptv simple client, but he put all channels in once, and i must go left to choose categories.

Can i somehow configure to automatically get in categories page?

Hello i am wondering if it is possible to find out who my IPTV provider is from my mag250 box ?? The reason i am wondering is the service is good but i think the person i am getting it from is extremely overcharging me !

EPG Question

Not sure if this a daft question or not, but can you use a generic EPG for any IPTV provider?

Reason I ask is that I've got a trial for a 2nd provider, and didn't receive the EPG link yet. When I set up the play list in Tivimate, it's utilised the EPG from my other IPTV provider.

I've got a stack of channels with no guide available, and was curious if there was some sort of EPG master LIST that can be used.

Help with IPTV list

Recently, I have purchased an IPTV service, and it features some channels abroad in America (I live in Europe). The channels in my country work well, the problem comes when I want to broadcast american channels, it happens like this:

I switch to an american channel, the streaming goes fine, it then buffer for a couple of seconds, then the streaming goes well for some seconds, right before the audio goes off, it happens with all american iptv channels.

I use IPTV extreme on my android TV box to launch the IPTV list. Any ideas of what should I do?
