Searching for the right provider for me

Hey all. I've recently discovered that I can have IPTV instead of cable with my Roku (the m3u player app) as well as the Plex app for Roku (Too slow, not gonna use that). I've not been into IPTV until now. I have been googling around as well as reading this sub and I have tried some of the providers that offer free trials. unfortunately for me, they have all had the same issues:

  • Channels seem to suddenly change. For example, Where Bein was suddenly SKY appears. Not nice.

  • Quality is not as advertised. Some (most) 1080p channels are 720p. Some 720p channels are 360p or something. Again not nice. Then some channels are streamed in the resolution advertised, but they barely have a bitrate for half that.

  • Many of the proviers seem to use a server or two, usually streaming from out my country. I don't have enough experience yet but I smell trouble during my country's peak hour if I have to connect to servers half the world away and try to stream 1080p. I'd rather prefer to have a provider that is using a CDN.

  • Some providers are asking for payment for a trial. I understand the need to keep jerks away, but I am not paying for a trial. If they can't secure their stuff, that is not my problem. So need to be able to test without payment.

So I am here to ask you which provider meets the above criteria? I am okay with them being above the average price if that would provide a service making it possible to cut the cable for me. I don't need much channels, the main sports ones mostly (Bein, Sky, and would be nice to have some US sports too). And if no CDN, at least servers in east of Amsterdam (but within EU). Thank you for your help in advance.

ACE Will Officially Shutdown On Monday .. ( official Statement )

Just got this from my reseller. Looks like ACE are about to shutdown operations for good.

Hi all please see info this has been confirmed by Ace and will come in to force from Monday

The ISPs in the UK and across Europe have recently become much more aggressive in blocking our service while football games are in progress.we are going to black out the EPL games for all users (including VPN users) starting from Monday .

Please ensure that your customers are aware of the restriction.

IMPORTANT: Due to aggressive blocking by internet service providers we may be forced to disable access to UK football games. If football is important to you then please take this into account before proceeding to purchase.

** Update ***

It is no rumor. We will be stopping temporarily.

In order to get ourselves off of the ISP blacklist we are going to black out the EPL games for all users (including VPN users) starting on Monday. We believe that this will enable us to rebuild the bypass process and successfully provide you with all EPL games.

Fire TV & SPMC - Buffering

So I use Vader and have been experiencing constant buffering with my Fire TV while connected wirelessly and through ethernet. I'm using SPMC. I did a test today... I played the same stream from my computer (wireless) through the Vader web player and there's zero buffering. Could it be a bad Fire TV or does SPMC need some tweaking? Again, the buffering happens both on wireless and ethernet.

TIA!

Edit: Connected my fire TV to a different server (LB US WEST) and no buffering so far. So for those experiencing buffering... try all the different servers. And yes, I’m aware Vader has been going through a rough patch lately.

"STB has been blocked contact your supplier"

Hello brilliant IPTV minds,

I recently subscribed to an IPTV service but when I put in the portal URL address into my MAG 256 stb, I got a blue screen saying that "STB has been blocked contact your supplier".

Has anyone else had this issue? Has anyone got any ideas as to how I get around this problem? I contacted the IPTV provider and they said they don’t block anyone.

I’ve have two other IPTV services running on the same MAG 256 set top box with no issues apart from buffering.

It was suggested to me to put the same service provider's portal address into a computer that is connected to the same modem, I received a another blue screen on the computer that says the "STB is not supported". Apparently this means that I'm not being blocked.

Any ideas how to fix and get the IPTV service up and running?

Real Debrid IPTV Firestick

Hello all-

I am new to this subreddit and would like to say hello to everyone. I just obtained a real debrid premium account. I have a couple live tv apps on the firestick that have been working but i do not know if they are effected by real debrid. I also have Kodi. I installed a crappy build and have to figure out how to restart to original settings. Anyway, is there a way to set up Kodi with real debrid, IPTV and a guide. I saw a video on youtube of a build where someone had a guide where they coudl select whats on and watch. Please advise.

Backup to SmoothStreams...who doesn't re-stream SS?

From what I understand several providers re-stream SmoothStreams for their sports channels. I've heard Vaderstreams does and apparently Fab does too. Are there any providers that don't re-stream SS for sports channels? If SS goes down, it's useless to have a backup that is dependent on your main sub.

Looking for Smart IPTV on LG TV or Kodi IPTV (U.S.)

Obviously I wish there was a free option that worked well, but I’ve looked for a while now and can’t find one, and I’ve paid for smart iptv (wish I didnt) and can’t find any .m3u or files to even make that whole 1 time $5 purchase worth it. Anyways, I’m looking to try some services and see what’s really nice for USA and not too expensive on a monthly or quarter annual basis. Thanks ahead of time for suggestions!

sky sports channels 1080p?

Did all providers switch sky sports channels from 1080p to 720p? My provider is citing that’s because “end of card sharing” at providers end. My provider used to get 1080p all the time for these channels and even upgrade to 5.1 audio for certain games. Just wondering .. anybody still getting 1080p for these channels?

Same virtual MAC on different Android boxes?

I just got IPTV express and am using STBEmu on my Xiaomi mi box. Everything is working great and I'm very happy. I'm interested in getting another mi box for my basement and putting STBEmu on that as well. Can I use the same virtual mac address on both boxes to watch IPTV on both (as long as only one is running). Or will I register a different virtual MAC address (and essential pay for a whole other subscription?)
