VOD Ponder

Hey Guys and Gals a ponder from your collective wisdom please.

Am currently using Epic Stream for my main stream. This is on a Solo2 as a m3u boutque redone the epg using xtream and this seems to fit well also got it on a kodi box. Am after something for a secondary backup. BUT the kiddiewinks would use it for VOD. Kiddie movies and shows and the likes. Epic VOD is limited in this area so was thinking of Ruya VOD or from what iv heard maverick seems to be alright. But looking through Redit don hear much about maverick not sure if they are reseller or not.

Please feel free to put some input in whos would be best as a secondary service that would have a VOD to cover off the kiddie winks needs.

Thanks for your help

Do you need to pay for movieclub?

Hi all,

Staying at a friend's house whilst they are away, he has an IPTV box, I've never heard of it before, but it looks cool. I want to watch some films that appear on the Videoclub section, but I don't want him to get charged for them. Is it free to watch or is it more of an on-demand payment thing? Thanks

The great IPTV Conundrum.

So I have used FabIPTV for a month or so and I like it. I bought it before the increase in price so basically right now , It would cost me ~$9.5 a month to renew it and that's an alright price but the prices have increased now,

I see it recommended so often here that I decided to look into the prices of other IPTV services to see how it really compares and how other IPTV services compare to each other.

Please note that I have not taken non-english language providers into comparision.

First I looked at the only FabIPTV reseller I know of,

Epoch Hosting. Now Epoch Hosting's pricing is a bit better than Fab's new pricing.I feel the reason Fab increased their rates was to make sure their resellers have a bit of wiggle room too.

Term Epoch(RESELLER FOR FAB) FabIPTV
Full 1 month $11.5 $12.25
Full 3 month $28.3/3 = $9.4/mo $32.2/3 = 10.7/mo

Contact /u/Fabiptv and /u/EpochHosting to buy FabIPTV.

So as things stand, Epoch is the way to go if you are looking for Fab. The one major advantage with Fab is the fact that they are VERY flexible with the devices you have on your account. You can have m3u playlist and a STB on the same account but still use only one stream at a time and this is why I went with Fab in the first place.

Then we have Ultrabox/Epic,

The new prices and new plans.

Price $10 $14 $18

No discount unless you sign up for 6-12 months.

Now I haven't used Epic for more than 24 hours and that was long time back, so I would love for users to give some feedback.

Epoch is a reseller for Epic as well,

Ultrabox/Epic Gold Plan Epic Gold Plan Sold by Epoch
$14 or 11 GBP $11.5 or 9 GBP

Contact /u/ultraboxIPTV(All 3 plans) or /u/EpochHosting (GOLD ONLY) to buy Epic.

Then comes the Vaderstreams. Now before the price increase of Fab and Epic, Vader seemed to be much more expensive @ $15/mo but now when you look at it with Fab costing over $12/mo and Epic costing $14/mo for a comparable plan ,Vader looks a lot more lucrative.

Term Cost
Monthly from BoomVader/Official Vader store(Bitcoin price) or IPRocket $15
3 months if you pay using bitcoins $34/3= $11.33/mo

Now this is where it gets interesting, with Vader i you get 3 streams at once, Extremely high quality VOD and a get Kodi addon, a webplayer and also a m3u file and it costs just $11.33/mo if you pay 3 months at once.

The major drawing point of Vader at that price after both Epic and Fab has raised their prices is access to Smoothstreams' streams a lot of which are 50fps. The downside is that magbox/dreamlink experience is not as good as others.

Another Downside? You won't get the customer support that you get from guys at Fab or Mike @Ultrabox.

There is another player in the game called the Player's Klub.I used them but I dont remember what channels they carried but they were good for but $5/mo so it would be great if someone could give some more details about it,.

We also have the "old school" IPTV services which are stalker only (Needs magbox/dreamlink/stbemu) , They can be had for $8-$10/mo,

IPGUYS --->Stable,Best EPG, DVD quality

IPTV Express ---> EPG lacks a bit but when I used it before it had issues, it was hands down the best service I had used. A huge number of catchup channels, huge hhuge huge huge VOD library. Lots of international and south asian stuff.

Voodoo --> $7.5 a month from a guy /u/vtpi knows, I have never used it but I have heard its good and has a lot of international channels.

So what do you guys think is really the most value for money provider right now? Who do use and who do you plan on using in the future?

PS: I know I have left out a lot of providers, I will add them to the post soon with the pricing , just heading out right now.

IPTV Service for Mag Box with Server recording

Hi I have been doing the rounds, trying to find a service which will allow me to record programs on to some server space provided by the IPTV service provider and then download on to my USB HDD. I believe a service called Savvy do it but only give about 4 hours worth of space which I don't think is enough.

Could anybody recommend anywhere that does this? The service itself only really needs to provide access to the UK TV stations.

Thanks

Nitro TV

Okay currently trying Nitro TV on my Roku 2 XD. I have to say what a horrible, horrible service. Almost every channel I try to load is a black or gray screen. There are channels that load quick but it's like one out of every 20. I don't know what's going on. I thought this would be a quality service. I was wrong. Good thing it's a free trial.
