I'm new to iptv. I am trying to get it running through my plex pass box. I followed some guides, and can't seem to get it to work. Wondering if you could help.

its black friday and I am broke. I am not worried about 4k type quality just if smarters will work

Hi, I use the above on my slim windows pc connected to my TV, which I'm controlling via a wireless mouse (no keyboard connected).

All works fine but once in full screen I can't press ESC to go back to the channel menu it seems, and I am therefore stuck.. does anyone know a way around this?

I've got an excellent provider and a very very good internet connection but still got buffering occasionally on life TV. I use a VPN which is always going to slow things down a bit. I've recently moved to NordVPN and was playing around with the settings last week and started using what they call the P2P VPN under "speciality servers". I'm assuming this is peer-2-peer.

Since then I have not had a single bit of buffering. Nothing, rock solid. Maybe it's a coincidence?

Just thought I'd share, in case someone else might find it useful.

I realized that I enjoyed watching my favourite shows or movies with 24/7 content, I just want to know if it is possible to create my own channel for personal use via Cloud server? Or do I have to use a device that should be run 24/7 for this?

Having a strange issue with my android boxes. I fired one up yesterday and couldn't get any apps to play. When I check the wifi connection info on the box, it shows good connection. I played around for two plus hours, and could not get a connection to hold for more than 90 seconds. This was happening with Chrome browser, YouTube, Playstore, and other apps. Also happening ony second and third boxes on my other tvs, and I tried two backup boxes, same result. My primary tv is a smart tv, Netflix and prime working fine on wifi on these with no issues. Netbook also staying connected fine. I am baffled, appreciate any suggestions. Going to find an ethernet cable to try on primary box when I get home.

I have tried tivimate premium and IPTV smarters pro for my sub. My internet speed averages 30mbps as per speedtest and fast apps but on smarters app im getting around 1-2 mbps with the same wifi on my MiBox S and also my mobile phone. I've tried 3 subs but the issue remains. Im not sure what is causing this issue. Looking forward to great help from this great forum. Cheers

My IPTV service (XC type) works perfectly fine when I use my ISP's standard router setup. Since the hardware they give is generally garbage, I want to use my own router (Asus RT-AX58U). I switched the ISP's hardware to bridge mode to give my router full control.

However, in that configuration, my IPTV service stops working (it basically times out trying to get the stream). The only way I can get it working again is to enable a VPN (I use PIA). And oddly, not all of the servers on PIA even get it working again. I even tried a bunch of VPN trials and basically none of them work, just a few servers on PIA get it working again (mostly random servers in Europe work). I'm going to guess either the IPTV service or VPN is blocking something since even on cellular, the same thing happens on VPN.

It's really a bizarre issue. I was wondering if anyone knew of any special settings on an Asus router that would get it working again.

Info:

1. Using tivimate on shield connected directly to the router with ethernet. Also tried wifi and same result.
2. Have DNS configured to cloud flare and confirmed it's using it.
3. I have Merlin firmware on the router, but also tried with completely stock firmware and factory reset with no changes to router besides initial wifi setup. Same issue. Also tried turning off all of the Asus features, like QoS, filtering, etc. Just the basic router stuff. Same issue.
4. Tried on various devices (Fire stick, phones, tablets, laptops). All the same issue.

Edit: Resolved, seems likely provider is the one blocking requests.

Opening a direct stream to a channel (retrieved from m3u4u) in VLC and checking the logs, the provider seems to redirect me to some big buck bunny mp4 (probably as a placeholder) depending on where I am coming from. Various VPN connections except a select few all do the same thing. I have no clue why they would bother doing that, but, even using my router tethered with USB to my phone, it works perfect fine. Ill be trying a different provider to see how another behaves.

I’m trying to update on Firestick, but it says the external market is unavailable.

Any suggestions on how to update? Do I just need to download the latest Smarters? If so, can anyone direct me on how to do that as a friend loaded it in the first place for me.

I know it doesn't work with TV shows and movies so that will not count as a benefit to me .

I am using the XCIPTV VERSION 5.0.1 and I have a choice of internal players between EXO and VLC only. With EXO some of my VOD content loops after 2 mins of playing and goes back to the start. But my VLC player is fine but having Lip Sync issues??

I am using a 4K firestick and I am so tempted to use a normal firestick if this is not fixable…

I don't use IPTV. I have a PC setup to my TV. So I haven't dived into this world.

But I have done some research, and I cant seem to come to a conclusion on this specific issue.

My grandmother doesn't speak Read/Speak English. She speaks Persian. I was going to get her a Persian IPTV subscription.

I can obviously teach her how to navigate and she can remember that. So I wanted to know which is easier to use? She can't be casting off a smartphone or anything crazy.

TL;DR. Firestick 4K or Chromecast with Google TV for simplicity and getting through channels.

I have used several IPTV apps trying to stream on my TV through AirPlay. However it only tranfer sound and not image. Anyone can help, please?

Every time I alt tab out of the app and then tab back, my pointer hand / finger seems to float on top of the app, and I can't select anything (the interface elements don't show I'm over them etc) but it seems to still be registering presses as I can hear media playing, but there's no change to the screen, shows whatever menu I had on the screen before alt tabbing

I know I'll probably just be recommended to try a different app (which I'm not opposed to, the layout / UI is pretty bad in Smarters) but figure someone might have some advice on how to fix it

Trying to decide which device I should get for streaming iptv. I use it 90% of the time for ppv events only so what would you say is a better pick. Plus it’ll be connected by Ethernet.

Can this app do replay if my service provides that? I cant find it anywhere in the app. If it cant can you recommend one that can?

Anyone know of a way to hide IPTV channel groups in this app?

Couldn't find the question asked before, but is there any way to fix channels changing constantly in VLC or other players OTHER THAN using the "loop one" function. That function still loops every 10 seconds just back to itself.

I've searched this sub, YouTube, Google etc and can't find a good answer. I have super fast internet and a high end system to watch on.
