I picked up a stream locator so that I could watch content from other countries. It makes netflix for example think I am in Korea. One of the things stream locator shows is that it doesnt affect your download speeds. So, I was wondering about using it to mask my iptv usage. would it make me just as anonymous as using a vpn?

Hi, I have been going through a ton of posts here and I am still not able to get a solution. So my iptv provider is not technically savvy I guess he is just a restreamwr. He gave me a portal link that looks like a website and asked for my MAC address which I gave it to him. He’s used to setting it up on standalone boxes and I got a chromecast with google tv. Now we both dont know how to make this work. I installed tivimate from recommendations here but when I input the url in stalker portal it gives me a playlist error. In STB app I get asked username/password which provider doesn’t have and it doesn’t ask the same in actual STB he installs. Which app do I download or am I stuck with dumb set top box that he sends me?

Bought a mi stick for my dad so that he can watch iptv but he doesn't know how to use the included remote and refuses to learn. I'm wondering if I can buy normal looking remote that has numbers and channel buttons that I can connect to the mi stick and use with tivimate? Thanks.

I have a M3U list on GSE and if i cast tv shows or films (recorded stuff) it works very well but liveTV it dont work, no image no sound, say something about codec. Can i do something about his? Maybe an Amazon Firestick work on this?

I'm curious, about how, the main source manages to own access to all the channels, I thought it connected to the channels ‏‏‎ that broadcast online, (but I immediately realized that that was impossible), I have also thought that maybe they take the signal via satellite, but they should have an infinity of satellite dishes to catch all the channels. I have also thought that perhaps they have servers in each country, from there they would take the signal and send it to the main source, but I also see that with a very huge logistics plan. Can you guys explain me how they do it, I dont need really technical names, just to get the idea (more than the normal people have) of how IPTV works. Thanks

My iptv service begin to buffer between 8pm and midnight everyday. Internet is fine. Any ideas why?

I have tried to buy firestick 4k but nobody wants to ship here or it's too expensive. Same thing with chromecast with google tv. Anything else I could buy that isn't too expensive?

I'm new to the IPTV world so apologies if this is a dumb question.

I want to know if there's a Windows app that will allow me to resume watching a movie/series from the point where I left off instead of starting from the beginning of the movie/episode every time. I have the Smarters app on my laptop and it doesn't seem to have that option so I have resorted to taking a picture of the timestamp with my phone every time I have to leave the app and it's getting tiresome. I tried to use Tivimate through Bluestacks but I couldn't get it to work for some reason so I'm looking for a player that doesn't require Bluestacks. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Problem scenario 1 -

My m3u8 list has almost 80% http URLs. To play http m3u8 you need http website with media player. but google/chrome and people finds the website as non secure connection. So while people tries to visit browser gives them privacy connection error.

On the other hand https connection website with https m3u8 links are fine. it the main problem is I don't have many https links. Almost all main TV links are http. What is the solutions for this problem? How can I play http links on https website?

Problem scenario 2 -

A video player for WordPress can play example - abcd. com.foxsports.m3u8 , the end is .m3u8, but many urls don't end with .m3u8. They are like

example - abcd. net:80/jukjk8/72382 or

abcd. xyz:8080/benAa/82922/115

These links are working on VLC/POT Player ut cannot play on WordPress video player(HLS settings). Is there any way to play these on WordPress?

Problem scenario 3 -

I have a m3u8 playlist which play on VLC/POT Player. When I check the URLs of the channels I got this kind of links -

m3u- editor**. com/serve/b43810-0e4b-11e-a1f7-03f2f69ff6/328128**

These links are not directly working with VLC or any player. but works with when the playlist is open. Is there any way to play these kind of links on WordPress? Or can I extract the main m3u8 URLs for these kind of links?

When I use my IPTV service, the channels are all nicely grouped by country mostly, as well as some categories within countries (i.e. US - sports, US - entertainment, etc). But, of course, many of the channels (particularly foreign channels, but also North American channels) do not have EPG data.

I figured I'd try to use xtream editor, which I've read is good for EPG. I can import the m3u file into xtream editor and it shows up in the M3U List section of xtream. However, when I click on it, it shows just a totally ungrouped list of channels, all 127,000 of them (which includes all kinds of VOD channels as well). There's also more than 1,000 "pages" on xtream's editor for setting the EPG ID. So, it would take me months to manually set up EPG for these channels.

Am I doing something wrong? This is my first time using IPTV and using a service like xtream editor, so I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be seeing.

I installed StbEmu free version in my Android box and after properly configured I was able to load my provider portal. To avoid ads I purchased the Pro version and did the same configuration. But this time the portal does not load and give the blue scree “your STB is blocked”. Anybody knows how to solve this issue?

Has anyone yet found or know about any IPTV player, which shows the channel list as a live playing thumbnail, or even just a most recent photo of the live stream, accompanied by the name, ofc?

I know this may be too much to ask, but I find this is the best way to watch what you want on TV in a quick and efficient manner. Nobody has time to go through 500 or 1000 channels one by one, and even if you do, it's just very efficient to see live previews of channels as you go. In that way one may really get to choose what he wants to see, instead of boring, regular one-by-one channel-switching.

While I’m on WiFi at home it says “Could not play video. There was a problem trying to load the video”. Unless I use a VPN.

However, if I turn off my WiFi and use my mobile phone data it DOES work.

I’m assuming there’s a simple explanation to this but I wouldn’t know what it was.

Sorry for the noob question. I know using an Android box or Fire Stick is widely advised, but I'm looking at buying a new TV, and was wondering if I can get IPTV to work on it without additional hardware? So if I buy a Toshiba Fire TV Edition, or something with Google/Android TV built in (like a Hisense) would that work? If so, can anyone point out how?

I currently already own a TCL Roku TV, but I'm guessing there is now way to get IPTV directly on it?

So I'm running into an issue where some of the stuff I'm recording seems to stop short but the file continued to what the correct size would be. I'm not sure what it's causing it because some recordings are just fine.

Lets say i have The login credentials (Login and password) how can i connect to the iptv server , i know Xtream is useful in this case but how does xtream work what does it do what service does it use does it do a simple http request which i highly doubt since it's not working in chrome
