Whenever I use my IPTV service I wonder how it all works. Where do all these streams come from and how is it all collected and distributed? The channels are from all over the planet and are live - it’s crazy, can someone explain it to me please.

Is Smart STB worth it?

Currently using an android tv box and having to use 2 remotes is annoying. The cheap (and crappy!) Remote that came with my android box isn't easy to use either. Considering moving to smart STB app (on a Samsung 7series) and ditch the box altogether.

Is it worth the price?

FYI: I am happy with the service provider.

I'm available

I'm available to be sold to. Looking for no more than $5 a month, (bonus if I can buy a whole year for cheaper)1080p or 4k channels (I don't need a lot, 500 or more is fine) 100% uptime is a must, I need 5 or more connections with no IP limits as I'm going to be selling my login information with friends and family so I can make a profit. You'll also have to be able to provide me with at least a 2 week free trial.

Thanks...

If anyone is looking for a cost effective IPTV box...

Hi all,

About a week ago I was sent out a BuzzTV Android box (XPL3000 Sport Edition) for review. Its a great little box if you're looking to watch IPTV. I coupled it with my RocketStreams subscription and it works great. Not only this but you can install almost any Android app on it.

If you're looking for something which is "cost effective" and stable then I can't recommend this box enough. If you want to see the box in action before you commit to purchase then please feel free too check this link - https://youtu.be/fcunFUHTDUA

I also just wanted to say that I'm not in any way affiliated with BuzzTV, I'm just sharing a great product for IPTV that I now use on a daily basis. -- A few months ago I knew absolutely nothing about Android boxes and I threw money at a cheap Chinese dongle. The dongle arrived and it was a slow, laggy, mess. So yeah, this post it just a little pointer from my self, for anyone looking to buy their first Android box.

Please Recommend IPTV service

Hey All,

I used to pay for wow tv but it appears they are out of business. I guess its only natural as their service was very spotty as well.

I'm looking for mainly NA channels and sport for the NBA finals. I would also like a service that can include up to 3 devices on one subscription. 2x roku and 1x mi box.

What do you guys recommend or at least point me in the direction of a provider that checks off those boxes.

Thank You

Using IPTV in UK

Hello, I’ve recently started using Helix on my nvidia shield and I must say so far so good. I’ve just got a quick question regarding Virgin Media in the UK. I’ve only just starting using a IPTV provider and just wanted to know if anyone had ever gotten any email warnings from their internet providers when watching content on IPTVs?

I’ve got a VPN which is constantly running to hopefully avoid this, I just wanted to know if anyone has received any copyright infringement warnings in the past as I have received them previously when using Kodi ect.

Thanks I’m advance!

Best for Canadian Sports? (TSN 1-4 HD)

As CFL season is just about on us and I need to decide if IPTV or TSN direct is the way to go.

I've been doing some IPTV trials (paid - Comstar and Helix so far) in the last few weeks. The downside seems to be sports channels, especially TSN HD, buffer, jitter and lock up. As sports is my #1 priority, maybe IPTV isn't for me.

The problem doesn't seem to be on my end. My Minix box doesn't buffer with Kodi torrents or hosters. I'm not using Wifi (Direct wire connection). I've got 75 down speeds and I get close to that even with my VPN running on the Minix box when I do speed tests. My inside Kodi speed test shows 65 down. I have buffer/jitter/stopstart problems in Kodi, Smarters and VLC on my Minix box and on my Ubuntu desktop.

So... the question is... Are there any IPTV providers who can sell me quality TSN HD that doesn't buffer or do I need to buy TSN Direct?

Thanks in advance folks.

UPDATE 1: Purchased Rocketstreams for a month, cuz 24 hours ain't enough time to do a real test.
May 30 From 6:55PM - 10:00PM - All TSN's and Canadian Tennis channel play for 30 seconds then buffer for 30 seconds then repeat. Unwatchable. Cdn HGTV also doing the 30 on 30 off. US HGTV and US HD Tennis working properly.

Contacted support who told me they were watching TSN and SPORTSNET and asked if I was watching the basketball, while Tennis was on TSN. Then they told me that 30 second delay was how IPTV worked. I restated the 30 on, 30 off problem. They haven't updated the ticket since.

May 31 - All TSN's not working again. 5:15 PM - 9:00PM. Watch TSN 5 HD from 9-11.

Note: I streamed an entire Bomber game through a different source while the IPTV was down, so streaming was working fine on my end.

Opinions from Helix users please.

Since TNT stopped their Premier League coverage am considering Helix - can any long term Helix users who regularly watch PL and CL games provide their experience with Helix's US 3pm, UK, Bein, etc coverage?

From the trial it looks pretty good but obviously the season's finished so no way to know if it's a watchable provider until August. Little help? Cheers.

TV Mosaic is an easy and free IPTV DVR (PVR) solution, DMG or EXE install (no terminal), free IOS & Android App

I've been playing with a few DVR or PVR solutions for IPTV with varying degrees of sucess. Mostly my success has hinged on how much terminal work is required to get them up and running.

I just came across the TV Mosaic app which lets you record your IPTV programs in original quality directly to the local hard disk of your PC, Mac, Ubuntu Desktop, Raspberry Pi or NAS without any terminal work at all.

I did a quick search on r/IPTV and didn't find any posts explicitly calling this out, so I though I'd post to help out some other people with a limited command line skill set like mine.

I have a Mac, and it was an easy install, download from thier website:

https://tv-mosaic.com/en/

Mount the DMG, click install, plug in your IPTV M3U link, and EPG link, and then set the directory for your recordings. All done in the GUI, with no command line steps at all.

There's an IOS, Android and Apple TV app you can use to select which shows to record. You can view live IPTV through the same app also if you'd like.

Edit:

Here is a Youtube video showing the setup:
