VOD only service (kids tv/movie focus)

I have a decent live supplier but their VOD section is limited. Any VOD only services with loads of child friendly stuff (current favourites of the offsprings blaze, paw patrol, Noddy, dad's likes the old school sat day morning stuff über Bonus if old scooby is available)? Possibly also as 24/7 someone point me in the right direction thanks :)

IPTV setup (Beginner)

Hello folks,

I have spent the last month on testing different IPTV provider and can say that I found 2-3 good ones (fulfilling my needs).

During the testing period I used Kody and IPTV Simple Client - Kodi Addon.

The good thing is that my Sony TV (Android TV) runs Kodi and does it ok. Could be a bit more smoothly, but its ok. What Im more missing are some essential things a "real" TV GUI has. Maybe I have overlooked those features in Kodi but I doubt that.

Thats why Im thinking about a STB just for IPTV. Ive read tons of STB reviews and this shall not be the topic here. What I want to know is:

Can a real set top box e.g. Formuler Z7+ give me a more "natural" TV feeling?

Thanks in advance for your answers,

Claas

Losing audio sync fire stick 4K stbemu

I’m new to iptv. Signed up for OK2 and ipguys for one month each to try them out. OK2 running on iptv smarters m3u and ipguys on stbemu 1.1.7 locked to MAC address. Both are on a fire stick 4K.

It seems that ipguys on stbemu loses the audio sync after a short period of time. Channels start out in sync but do not stay. Changing the channel fixes the issue but again only for a short period of time. Not sure what I can do to fix this.

OK2 on iptv smarters is fine and I have no issues on that side.

Is there a device/app that can record several channels simultaneously?

I am looking for a device or an android app that can record several channels simultaneously (and record while watching a different channel). It needs to be user friendly as it is for my parents (cable-like look-and-feel preferred).

I've looked into Formuler z7+ and BuzzTV XPL 3000 and I really liked their interfaces because they provide a cable-like experience. However, it seems that it is only possible to record one channel at a time :(

I know that many providers have the option to time shift many channels, however my parents are mostly watching unpopular channels which means that recording is the only option.

Mag324W2 starting to show up in stores

Finally, the Mag 324W2 starting to show up at Canadian retailers. This is the replacement to Mag 256 and has 5Ghz Wifi. From the pictures, it also seems it has a programmable remote, unlike most Mag 322.

I don't know about compatibility with Providers, but I assume it should work fine.

Problem with STBEmu Pro

Both my parents and I use STBEmu Pro for our IPTV. Mine is working fine, but my parents' seem to be stuck on a porn station. When they try to change it to any other channel, they choose one from the channel listing, and then it doesn't change. They can choose video on demand ones without problem, but not TV. We've updated the MAC address with the provider and I had them change the media player, without any luck. Any advice?

How the hell do you find real resellers or the direct link to said IPTV provider?

I am trying to find trials (which I am willing to pay for) of specific provider I have heard of, for example Vader Streams but I see so many places to buy a subscription, how do i know which is the real vader streams? also, why do you have to go to resellers rather than just go directly to the company?

IPTV Provider with 30+ FPS sports

I currently have BeastTv and it has all of the sports I want but when I watch hockey at 30fps it can get difficult to track the puck. I am just curious if a 30+ fps hockey stream exists or am I expecting too much?

Edit: Thank you everyone for all of your help today, awesome community! :)

Is getting a Fire Stick (or alternative) better than using iPlayTV on Apple TV?

Hey. I've been subscribing to Vaders Streams for about a year now. I haver iPlayTV running on my Apple TV, and things are pretty decent. I also do a custom EPG from iptv-epg.com.

But since it's boxing week and I've got some gift cards to burn: Would I find that using a Fire Stick, Roku or Chromecast to be a better experience?

I'm not a gamer. I just use Apple TV for IPTV and I also run Kodi through it, with real debrid.

I do get some buffering with Vaders. Not a ton, but it certainly does happen. I have super fast internet, so no issues there.

Just curious to your opinion. Should I move to an Android Box or one of the aforementioned plug in things?

Changing iptv providers

I have 2 questions

  1. If I am changing service providers ie going from a gold reseller to express iptv, do I have to wait for my gold iptv subscription to expire than my mac address can be added to another resellers panel that is selling express iptv?

  2. If I am getting the credits from a reseller, than all I need to do is enter the url in the portal part of my mag box after giving my mac address to the reseller?

Recommend an Emby friendly IPTV provider and a few other requirements.

New to the IPTV world and have been doing a bit of research over the past few days and looking for recommendations of an IPTV provider with the following offerings:

  1. Decent amount of Russian channels.
  2. Decent amount of Macedonian channels.
  3. Only interested in live TV, don't want any VOD channels.
  4. USA Sports (mainly hockey, if they have more or all sports, cool! Detroit Red Wings fan so being able to pick up Fox Detroit would be a major bonus!)
  5. USA Entertainment channels (HGTV, HBO, etc)
  6. A URL that doesn't change every hour.
  7. Minimal to no buffering. Don't want some oversubscribed provider.
  8. Lots of High Def. channels.
  9. EPG, that works with Emby (More on that below)
  10. Emby restreaming friendly. (More on this below)

I believe Emby has a problem with EPG data when using an IPTV provider. Is there any way to fix that via plugins?

As for point 10.... I run an Emby server and share my media with other people. I know that some IPTV providers strictly forbid you to restream or ask that you buy an account that allows multiple connections. I'm totally fine with paying more so I can restream with Emby. I have about 4-6 friends that are interested in chipping in for this. So I need a provider that would be OK with me using Emby and having a few people restream through me.

BONUS: If they have a 12-24hr trial, that would be very nice as well! I know it's a bad idea to pay for a yearly subscription so I'll probably do monthly or 3 months or 6 months max.

Advice on MAG 324 W2 ?

Hello guys, I require an IPTV service for mostly Indian/Hindi/Punjabi channels and that means I'm stuck using Gold or Express service as far as I know.

So I need something very easy and user friendly so I have narrowed it down to MAG series for their simplicity.

Now, I'm looking to get MAG 324 W2 which is supposed to be the newer MAG 256. I'm assuming newer version should be better? Any reviews on the newer MAG 324? There's surprisingly not much info how the newer version fares.

Thanks, appreciate your inputs.

Apple TV app is constantly losing M3U link, and with it favourites

Hey all,

I've been playing with IPTV for a month now, and it works while it works, but then it just doesn't :D

I'm using subscription from iptv.shop and am running it on Apple TV. I have tried all of the apps on Apple TV, I've probably spent an additional €50 on trying all the apps. Most of them are utter rubbish and simply don't work. Some of them work but it seems they have issue with large channel count (my playlist has over 60.000 channels ... a bit too much).

All of them are horrendous & ugly, it seems the developers of those didn't even bother downloading Apple's default UI kit to design/develop their apps.

There is literally ONE app on Apple TV which actually works with my stream link – GSE SMART IPTV.

However that one drops the link/M3U/playlist after about a day or two. I give it the URL, it loads the list, it's all fine, and then some time later, it just drops everything.

Does anyone have similar experiences? What is actually causing this? Is it the link that's problematic, or the app, or Apple TV does some shenanigans with it to discourage IPTV running on Apple TV?
